Dr. Kennedy and I did not see eye-to-eye on everything, but his death this morning makes me sad. His commitment to Christ and His Word was unwavering. Evangelism Explosion has a presence in every nation on earth. He was truly an innovator in Christian ministry, as I seek to be and he was a member of my Presbytery. I only met him once personally, but most evangelical Christians in the United States (at least) owe him a huge debt of gratitude. Or perhaps I should say, he was a great gift from God to show the American church how much God loves us. He loves us, indeed. Even us.
